FT Residential Staff
Spectrum is looking for a residential staff member at the Spectrum Co-op; a transitional living program for at-risk teenage boys. We are looking for somebody to provide assistance with crisis intervention, mental health and substance abuse issues, along with assistance with basic living skills and treatment goals. Hours are variable, and will include weekends, days, evenings & overnights.
Candidates should be responsible, mature, flexible and dependable. BA and one year direct experience with this population or high school diploma with 2 years direct experience with this population preferred.

Outpatient Mental Health & Substance Abuse Counselor
Dual licensure in substance abuse and a mental health discipline preferred. Masters degree in counseling or related field required.
Must be experienced and skilled in working with and engaging adolescents and families. Demonstrated experience with the GAIN assessment and/or validated structured assessment, Motivational Interviewing and MET/CBT preferred. Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication and report writing skills. Demonstrated experience collaborating with multiple service providers also required. Internships Spectrum's Counseling Program offers year-long internships for masters degree candidates in social work or mental health counseling. Interns work 25 hours a week with the expectation that they become Apprentice Substance Abuse Counselors. Interns are trained overall to become versed in treatment of dual diagnosis.
