"When Spectrum isn't changing lives, it's saving lives. It's just that simple. That's why we always donate to Spectrum." -Grace Blewer, Victoria Blewer, and Chris Bohjalian |
Spectrum invites you to become a Guardian of Youth - a monthly giving program that sustains our crucial programs year-round.
As a Guardian of Youth, you'll contribute through automatic bank or credit card transfers. Automatic funds transfer and charge card donations are secure and convenient.
Your monthly bank or credit card statement will clearly show you have given, and your annual donations will be easy to track for tax purposes. You may change your pledge or quit at any time. Your guardianship with Spectrum Youth and Family Services will be automatically renewed each year as long as you are a Guardian of Youth - no renew-by-mail forms!
Why are we asking for monthly gifts? The work of fostering sustainable programs for homeless, foster, and at-risk youth requires long-term commitment. At Spectrum, we're in it for the long haul to ensure that young people make a successful transition to a productive adulthood. Automatic monthly gifts provide Spectrum with day-to-day support we need-just as our kids need our help on a daily basis-and in a way that's more convenient for you and much more cost-effective for us.
As a community, we need to pull together. When a young person asks for help, I would hope we could always be there to mentor them into their lives. I feel so strongly that young people are the new branches of our tree reaching the future. By nourishing their roots, we give them a chance to grow into contributing members of society. From a financial standpoint, it simply makes sense to be pro-active and support youth who need someone to stand by them today and avoid the unnesessary costs of increased social services later.
