Mentor Program

The Spectrum Mentoring Program is a community-based mentoring program that matches responsible adult volunteers with adolescents from Spectrum between the ages of 11 and 21.  Mentor matches participate together in various activites in order to build a trusting relationship from which the youth can draw support.

Program Goal

As an active member of various mentoring partnerships, the Mentoring Program is committed to the Elements of Effective Practice as outlined by the National Mentoring Partnership. We adhere to our mission to create and support community based mentoring to help adolescents develop the life skills and support networks needed for a healthy, successful future.  Spectrum undertakes this mission with the conviction that mentored youth benefit from positive adult role models.
