Spectrum Youth and Family Services
The Spectrum shelter helped me out so much. It led to so many other things. Spectrum worked with me to get a stable place to live. They helped me find a job. I got my GED. Spectrum staff threw a graduation party for me. They supported me when I had some hard times - And they helped me find healthy and positive hobbies. Without Spectrum, I don't know where I would be today. They saved my life and helped me open my eyes and realize how much was out there for me.

Website – When your business sponsors our Website, you get home page placement and a link to your website. You can do this for one month, one year, or longer.
Annual Empty Bowl Dinner – Spectrum’s Annual Empty Bowl Dinner raises funds to support Spectrum’s free meal program at our drop-in center. We serve more than 6,000 meals annually to young people in need. The event is attended by more than 150 community members whose ticket buys them a handcrafted bowl made by a local artisan and a great meal of soup and salad provided by local restaurants.
Sponsorships are available at different levels. Depending on the level of sponsorship, your company could receive tickets to the event, your company logo on all event advertising, banner, press release, and live announcements at the event.
Specific Programs or Activities – Why not link your business to one of our many programs or activities that speaks to you and your company’s interests? Our services include education, job development and training, college and career planning, and mental health counseling, to name only a few.
Our staff also brings a group of young people annually to New Orleans to help rebuild homes. Your company could sponsor the whole trip; the van they drive down in; food, whatever you like. This trip always gets a lot of press on the day of departure and a follow-up story in the Burlington Free Press.
We also have an Adventure Club that gets kids out of doors—backpacking, camping, biking, and lots more. Your sponsorship of activities like these helps provide kids with the kinds of fun most families have.
Lifeline E-Newsletter and Other Publications – Spectrum’s monthly e-newsletter is received electronically by more than 700 individuals. Consider sponsoring this publication, which will include your company’s logo and a link to your website.
Vermont Public Radio Advertisement –Let’s advertise together and make it a win-win-win situation. When your ad on Vermont Public Radio (VPR) states “supporting Spectrum Youth and Family Services,” you increase your visibility as a socially responsible business. You also increase Spectrum’s visibility and you’re supporting VPR at the same time. So all three of us benefit!
