Spectrum Youth and Family Services is offering internship opportunities for graduate-level students in social work or a related field for the 2026-2027 school year. Interns will be placed within a program based on their experience, skills, and interests with programs such as Basic Needs or the Compass Program. Interns will have the opportunity to engage in direct service delivery, case management, program development, and therapeutic interventions for youth and families experiencing housing instability, mental health challenges, or other barriers. This internship provides a valuable opportunity for students to develop clinical skills and deepen their understanding of social work practice in a dynamic, community-focused environment.
Applicants should be prepared to work collaboratively with clients, staff, and community partners, supporting clients through assessments, service planning, and resource connection. Some placements may require reliable transportation, with travel costs reimbursed. This internship is ideal for students eager to apply their academic knowledge to real-world challenges.
Please send a cover letter and resume by March 6th to HumanResources@Spectrumvt.org to be considered for these positions.
