Spectrum Provides 3 Youth New Apartments

No Comments Share:

In September, Spectrum moved three of our youth from foster care into their own brand-new apartments in St. Albans. As the need for housing becomes more acute in Chittenden County, teens and young adults are significantly impacted.

Spectrum is grateful to Michael Monete and Champlain Housing Trust for supporting Spectrum in getting these leases and to Jess Bridge and United Way for Northwest Vermont for the $10,000 they donated for furniture, kitchen supplies, TVs, and much more to furnish the apartments.

Spectrum staff can continue working with these youth while housed in the apartments to help them build the necessary skills to reach their goals. Housing and core life skills provide these youth with a foundation for a successful future.
