Alexa started with the Compass program in January 2023 as an intern while completing her Master’s in Social work with a focus on trauma practice.
Prior to Spectrum, she worked one-on-one and in a classroom with youth as a behavior interventionist at Soar Learning Center for several years. Until recently, she worked as a behavior interventionist at Mosaic Learning Center with both verbal and non-verbal students. While there, she worked her way up to the lead behavioral specialist on her team. She holds a B.A. in Psychological Science from the University of Vermont and a certificate of Physical Activity Promotion in Children and Youth. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Work through Simmons University. She is also certified in Trauma Informed Care.
She loves ice skating, cooking, and playing video games.
