Employees are eligible for 27 days of combined vacation and holiday time (pro-rated for part-time employees), unlimited health leave, a 403b retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, a four-week sabbatical every six years, and a free yoga membership at Sangha.

Counselor

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people?

Join our Riverstone Counseling Team as a Mental Health and Substance Use Counselor! The ideal candidate will provide clients with individual, group, and/or family counseling and psychotherapy services. Along with creating client-driven treatment plans using specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals.

This role involves working in a team collaborative environment and requires a master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field from an accredited program and the ability to be Rostered with Vermont OPR. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with youth and is excited about contributing to our mission.

The full time position offers a competitive salary of $55,000 – $63,250 and is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health, HRA, dental, vision, life insurance, STD, LTD, accrued vacation, unlimited health leave, and a 403(b) retirement plan to support your well-being and work-life balance.

We are seeking candidates who meet the following requirements: Understands the complex impact of trauma and has experience providing trauma-informed care. Has crisis intervention skills, including suicide risk assessment, safety planning, and resourcing, and knowledge of human development; with special attention to adolescent and young adult biopsychosocial development and family systems. Nightly Shelter Awake Overnight Youth Coach (Part-Time)

Youth Coaches provide support for youth staying in the Nightly Shelter. As an important part of the shelter’s community, you’ll help youth achieve housing stability, heal from trauma, and accomplish their goals. Youth Coaches are timely and effective communicators, supportive and engaging, and are excited about making a difference! The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with youth, knowledge of best practices in youth development, and a desire to make a positive difference in their lives. This is a permanent part-time awake overnight position. Part-time positions qualify for paid time off and unlimited paid health leave.

The hourly rate for this position is $21.00, with a $4 shift differential for overnight hours. This position is eligible for a $2,000.00 sign-on bonus.

Hours: Saturday-Sunday 1:30am-9:30am

 

Development Coordinator (Part-Time)

Are you detail-oriented and eager to drive positive change? Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? 

Join our Development team as a Part-Time Development Coordinator! In this exciting role, you’ll help manage major donor outreach and communications, support fundraising campaigns, and collaborate with a passionate team. You’ll dive into using Raiser’s Edge and other project management tools, showcasing your organizational flair and proactive problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have at least a year of relevant experience. 

This position is 20 hours a week and offers a competitive hourly wage of $21.00 to $27.00, with flexible hours (4 hours a day, Monday–Friday, or 5 hours over 4 days). While partially remote, some office time in Burlington will be required. Plus, you’ll enjoy a fantastic benefits package that supports your well-being and work-life balance.

Mentoring Associate (Part Time)

Are you outgoing, love working with people, and passionate about making a difference in your community? If so, we’d love to meet you!

At Spectrum Youth and Family Services, we’re looking for someone to join our Mentoring Team. The ideal candidate enjoys connecting with both adults and youth, helping to build meaningful mentor-mentee relationships. This role will take you both into the community and into the office, with a mix of sitting, standing, using stairs and lifting or moving up to 10 pounds. Travel is part of the job, and we’ll reimburse your mileage.
