Burlington Drop-In Center

Spectrum’s Drop-In Centers are places for young people ages 14-24 to eat a meal, use a computer or phone, do laundry, get clothing, take a shower, and get other basic needs met.

The Drop-In Center is a safe and welcoming place to:

  • Eat a free meal. We serve lunch and dinner daily at 12 pm and 5:00 pm and self-serve breakfast is also available.
  • Use a computer, printer, or phone
  • Do laundry
  • Get clothing
  • Take a shower
  • Engage in a positive group activity on topics such as life skills, healthy relationships, navigating stress, and self-care
  • Get help with needs such as applying for jobs or state benefits, or identifying safe, stable housing options

Drop-In is a safe space and we welcome all LGBTQIA+ youth.

Hours:

  • Open 7 days a week from 9:00 am-5:45 pm (Please note: Between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm we are closed for specific programming and individual meetings.)
  • Meals are served at 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm each day. Self-serve breakfast is also available.

COVID Policy:

Community members who are sick are encouraged to use only to-go services from the Drop-In Center. If you are presenting with symptoms of COVID-19 you may be encouraged to take a rapid test upon arrival and you will be asked to wear a mask. Anyone who is testing positive for COVID will not be allowed to access the Drop-In space but may receive to-go resources and staff support in identifying a location for appropriate quarantine procedures. A community member who has tested positive may return after 5 days from the date of the test given that they are not experiencing symptoms and are able to produce 2 negative tests upon their return.
