Deteriorating mental health among young adults is a serious by-product of the COVID-19 pandemic that is likely to have long-lasting implications. Studies in the last year have found that youth report increased rates of depression, anxiety, loneliness, suicidality, and substance use.
Today, Spectrum’s Manager of Riverstone Counseling, Kristen Breault-Bolio, testified in front of the Vermont House Committee on Health Care about the mental health and substance use trends we are seeing among youth at Spectrum.
