Detail Works is a social enterprise designed to help young people build the soft skills and trade skills they need in the workplace.
Each year at Spectrum, we work with over 200 young people who have aged out of foster care or state custody.
Kayla is one such woman—she was just 8 years old when she had a neighbor call the police for her to get herself placed in foster care. Vermont author Chris Bohjalian spoke with her recently about her experience with the foster care system and how Spectrum helped her.
