These positions have an immediate start date for training, however, is on an as needed basis once trained. They are nonexempt positions with a base hourly wage of $21.00, with a possible shift differential of $2.00 or $4.00, depending on shift covering. These positions are located in St Albans, VT.

This position provides support for youth staying in the Nightly Shelter. As an important part of this community, you’ll help youth achieve housing stability, heal from trauma, and accomplish their goals. Staff will model effective, appropriate, and timely communication with others regarding resident updates. Timely and accurate completion of record keeping is also essential to this position. The permanent part time weekend position consist of Saturday and Sundays 1:30 am – 9:30 am. It is an awake position; staff are expected to be awake during the entire shift. The Youth Coach is expected to participate in ongoing supervision and group supervision to address personal and programmatic development goals, care coordination, and training needs. We offer a competitive hourly wage of $21.00 with a $4.00 shift differential

In this role, you are an important part of the Drop-In’s community, you’ll help youth access food and shelter, achieve stability, take steps to heal from trauma, and accomplish their goals. Youth Coaches are expected to participate in regular and ongoing individual and group supervision to address program development needs, care coordination for youth, and professional development needs and goals. The shifts for this 24 hour a week position is 12:00 – 6:00 pm on Friday, and 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Saturday and Sunday. We offer a competitive hourly wage of $21.00 per hour with a $2.00 shift differential.

In this role, you’ll manage a caseload of up to 25 youth, walking alongside them as they set goals, develop plans, and connect with the resources and relationships they need to thrive. You’ll help them access housing, education, jobs, healthcare, and life-long supportive connections—while also opening doors to leadership opportunities, financial supports, and community engagement that set them up for long-term success.

This is a full time exempt position with a salary range of $45,000 – $55,000 and is eligible for an excellent benefits package; including health, HRA, dental, vision, life insurance, STD, LTD, accrued vacation, unlimited health leave, and a 403(b) retirement plan.

Spectrum Youth & Family Services is seeking a Mentoring Associate to join our dedicated Mentoring team. In this role, you’ll help create and support meaningful mentoring relationships that empower youth to reach their full potential. This is a part time position consisting of 30 hours per week, paying $21.00 per hour, and eligible for an excellent benefits package. Availability between 3:00pm and 7:00pm is consistently necessary Monday through Friday. Weekend hours are frequently required for match activities and recruitment tasks.

You’ll work closely with the Director of Mentoring to deliver high-quality programming and provide direct support to mentors, mentees, and their parents or guardians. You’ll ensure every mentoring match has the tools, guidance, and encouragement they need to thrive.

The Mentoring Associate also helps strengthen and grow the program by assisting with mentor recruitment, training, and community partnerships. You’ll play an important role in keeping the program aligned with the Elements of Effective Practice, the national gold standard in youth mentoring, and in meeting grant goals through data collection and ongoing program evaluation.

The Director of Operations will provide both strategic and hands-on leadership across the organization’s operational infrastructure, including facilities management, information technology, and administrative systems. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this position ensures that Spectrum’s facilities, equipment, and technologies operate safely, efficiently, and in alignment with our mission to empower youth and families. The Director of Operations will supervise the Building Maintenance, Custodial, and Executive Administrative Assistant positions, and serve as the primary liaison for Spectrum’s contracted IT help desk and other key vendors.

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, solutions-focused leader who thrives on improving systems, optimizing resources, and supporting the essential work of our programs and staff.
